New to Fall Ball?

How fall ball works is, 8U and 10U will play double header games on Saturdays. 12U and 14U plays double header games on Sundays. Time of these games will be 12:00pm and 1:30pm or 3:00pm and 4:30pm. The location and times of these games will come out Wednesday prior to that week’s games. Every week, The league re-aligns everyone, so the goal is to be playing like competition every week. At the end of the season, Every level has a state tournament. Every team qualifies to play in the state tournament and you are put into Tiers with like competition. Teams will practice once  or twice a week. These practices will take place at the Oak Crest Softball Complex. Teams may have to travel for games. BPFA will try and host fall ball games for all our levels but we are at the mercy of the league and what fields are available metro wide on a weekly cycle.

AGE OF PLAY

Fall ball players will play the level of play in which they are eligible to play in Summer 2025. Please see the 2025 age chart to register for the correct age. This is strategically done to prepare our athletes for the changes (Live pitching, Stealing, Different pitching distances) in which they will see next session.

*Our 8U levels all use a manual pitch machine *

Currently the league BPFA plays in (BIG West) does not offer a 6U league. Those 6U eligible players shall register and will play 8U. Nothing to worry about... BPFA and surrounding associations all field 1st year teams in the C divisions and we have had great success with our youngest of teams.
