Catching Lesson Info
These will be instructed by Pat Schultz of Belle Plaine. Pat is an educator at BPHS and current head coach of the Belle Plaine baseball team. Pat stands out as a dedicated and knowledgeable coach with a deep understanding of the game’s fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
PITCHING LESSON INFO
These will be instructed by Melissa Digatano of New Prague. Melissa is an educator and current head coach of the New Prague Trojan softball team who finished as the Class AA runner up in 2024. She was previously the head coach at Waseca High School from 2014-2018.
HITTING LESSON INFO
These will be instructed by Kennedy Buckman. Kennedy is a New Prague High School graduate. Kennedy competed at the collegiate level at Augustana University in Sioux Falls. During her time at Augustana, she led her team to 4 NSIC championships, received 1st team NSIC honors in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and was named to the NFCA 2nd team in 2023 and 2024. Most recently, Kennedy has spent her time playing for the Israel National team.
Dome Ball Tournaments
Each team will compete in 2 S&C Winter Tournaments. These tournaments are all 1 day tournaments with 3 or 4 game guarantees. Locations are typically in the southern half of the metro. Teams will be coached by our BPFA winter development coaches. Team practices will be held just once the week prior to each selected Dome Ball Tournament. Winter tournaments are a great part of the development in the offseason!
